Incident
During agricultural operations, the pilot attempted to take off from a dirt strip. The runway length was insufficient for the aircraft to complete lift-off. According to the pilot, he was unable to dump his load because he was not familiar with the load dumping system. Consequently, the aircraft never achieved sufficient speed to lift off.
Sequence of Events
As the aircraft continued its ground roll beyond the usable runway, the left wing and main landing gear struck a rice field levee. This impact caused the airplane to go out of control. The aircraft subsequently impacted the ground and was destroyed.
