What happened
Witnesses observed an aircraft executing maneuvers at a very low altitude, approximately 100 feet above ground level, while engaged in an aerial photography flight. During this phase of operation, the airplane entered a left bank. The maneuver led to an aerodynamic stall, causing the aircraft to descend with its nose and left wing lowered before impacting the ground.
The investigation
Following the accident, investigators conducted a thorough examination of the airframe to determine if structural issues contributed to the event. The inspection revealed no evidence of pre-impact failure or malfunction within the airframe components. Similarly, an examination of the engine was performed to rule out mechanical causes. This analysis also showed no evidence of pre-impact failure or malfunction in the powerplant.
