Accident Description
According to the pilot, while attempting to take off from a mountain ridge, the left main wheel entered a depression. To keep the airplane aligned with the takeoff path, the pilot had to apply harder than normal control forces. When the airplane emerged from the depression, it bounced into the air. Due to a left quartering headwind, the airplane came back down on the right main wheel and the right wing. Subsequently, the airplane spun around clockwise approximately 180 degrees and struck the nose, then the left wing.
Damage
Both main landing gear boxes were torn out of the fuselage, and the fuselage was also damaged.
