Pilot's Account
According to the pilot, the landing was conducted in conditions of strong crosswinds and gusts. As the airplane rolled out after touchdown, he experienced a loss of directional control. In response, he initiated a go-around. During the subsequent climb, the airplane veered toward the wind tee. The pilot managed to fly over the wind tee. He then reported that another gust of wind affected the airplane, resulting in a second loss of control. The airplane subsequently struck the ground and a concrete fuel tank located on the downwind side of the runway.
