What happened

The aircraft touched down on runway 32, which measured 5,376 feet in length and 150 feet in width. At the time of initial contact, there were approximately 3,981 feet of runway remaining. The pilot reported that the initial touchdown was harder than usual, causing the airplane to bounce.

In an attempt to manage the bounce, the pilot increased power, which caused the aircraft to begin floating down the runway. When the pilot subsequently reduced power, the right wing made contact with the ground. The pilot noted that he had been working since approximately 1400 and had flown to Albany at about 1830; he also expressed significant fatigue to FAA inspectors, stating he was glad the flight was over because he was getting tired.
