Incident Overview
A pilot reported that during the approach to an airport, Unicom advised of a westerly wind. The pilot decided to land on runway 33. After touchdown, the airplane experienced a bounced landing. Subsequently, a gust lifted the left wing, causing the pilot to lose control. The airplane veered off the runway, collided with a 3,000-foot runway distance remaining sign, and came to rest in the dirt approximately 50 yards east of the runway.

According to the pilot, the wind was from the west at 10 to 15 knots, with gusts up to 20 knots.
