Accident Details
The pilot reported that everything appeared normal during the final approach to land. The final approach speed was 80 to 81 miles per hour. According to the pilot, the airplane touched down about one-third of the way down the runway, which she described as longer than normal.
Sequence of Events
After touching down on the main landing gear, the airplane bounced 30 feet back into the air. It then contacted the runway in a nose-down attitude, slid on the nose, and came to rest off the left side of the runway.
Examination
A post-accident examination revealed no anomalies with the airplane.
