Incident Overview
A pilot reported that approximately 60 feet above ground level (AGL) after takeoff, the engine lost power. The pilot responded by pitching the nose forward and attempting to troubleshoot the loss of power. The engine briefly regained partial power, but then lost power again almost immediately. The aircraft subsequently struck tree tops at an estimated altitude of 50 feet AGL and then impacted the ground.

A post-accident examination of the aircraft revealed no anomalies with the engine, fuel-related systems, or ignition systems. The investigation identified no mechanical deficiencies that could explain the power loss.
