Event Description
A pilot reported landing long on runway 15, which measured 3,797 feet in length and 75 feet in width. After touchdown, the pilot decided to perform a standard go-around, applying full engine rpm and mixture. However, the engines did not produce the necessary power to sustain flight, forcing the pilot to abandon the go-around.
Pilot Statement
The pilot stated that, faced with insufficient engine power, he made the decision not to land in a nose-down attitude. Instead, at the last seconds, he pulled the nose up to execute a full stall landing. The maneuver involved reducing airspeed until the aircraft stalled just above the runway surface.
Post-Accident Examination
Following the incident, examinations of both engines and propellers revealed no discrepancies. The systems were found to be functioning normally, with no mechanical failures or malfunctions identified. The runway length and width were confirmed as reported.
