What happened
The pilot was conducting practice touch-and-go landings when the incident occurred during the rollout of the second landing. While controlling the aircraft on the ground, the pilot overcompensated with the rudder controls. This excessive input caused the airplane to depart the runway surface to the right side.
As the aircraft left the paved area, it began to ground loop. During this uncontrolled rotation, the left wing struck the ground. The impact forces subsequently caused the left main landing gear to collapse. The airplane eventually came to a stop in an upright position.
