Event Description
A pilot experienced a hard landing while over the runway numbers, causing the airplane to porpoise and bounce upward. Upon settling onto the runway, the airplane appeared to move off the west side of runway 30, with the left tire and nose wheel potentially contacting the adjacent grass area.
