Approach
The pilot reported conducting a localizer approach to runway 36 in instrument meteorological conditions. During the approach, the airplane broke out of the overcast at about 400 feet above ground level. The pilot then forced the airplane down toward the runway.
Landing
The airplane touched down approximately 2,000 feet past the runway's threshold at an indicated airspeed of about 100 to 120 knots. The pilot stated that he was unable to stop the airplane before it departed the end of the runway.
Post-Accident
After departing the runway, the airplane collided with the airport's perimeter fencing. The pilot reported no mechanical problems, and a post-accident examination of the airplane revealed no mechanical anomalies.
