An aircraft suffered a catastrophic engine failure en route at 6,000 ft, leading to a forced landing during which it struck an oak tree, fence, and rock outcrop. Investigation revealed that cylinder through-bolts had been installed with insufficient torque.

Loss of Engine Power

Forced Landing and Impact
