Nose-Over During Landing on Soft Wet Surface Due to Excessive Braking (N9622V)

Accident Details

A private certificated pilot was landing a tundra tire-equipped airplane at an off-airport site during a local flight under Title 14, CFR Part 91. During a telephone conversation with the NTSB investigator-in-charge, the pilot stated that during the landing roll on a soft and wet surface, he applied heavy braking. The airplane subsequently nosed over.
