Narrative
A pilot performed a landing to the south on the turf/grass area adjacent to runway 18. During the landing rollout, the airplane encountered a wind gust, resulting in a cartwheel. The pilot reported that the airplane was traveling at a "fairly slow speed" when the gust occurred.
Damage
The tricycle-landing gear airplane came to rest upright. The cabin roof was crushed, both wing spars were bent, and the engine firewall was damaged.
Weather
Local winds were reported from the west at 8 knots, gusting to 16 knots at the time of the accident.
Occupant Status
The pilot exited the airplane without injury.
