Accident Details
A Piper PA-18-105 aircraft experienced a ground loop during the landing rollout on runway 4. The aircraft, after landing, veered to the right in a ground loop. The pilot subsequently taxied the airplane from the runway to the ramp.
Damage Assessment
A postaccident inspection revealed substantial damage to the left wing and elevator. The damage occurred when these components contacted the runway surface during the landing event.
