Accident Overview
A private certificated pilot was conducting touch-and-go landings in accordance with Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 91, when the accident occurred. During the landing, the pilot reported a loss of directional control. The airplane swerved to the left, and the right wing struck the ground.
Aircraft Damage
The impact damaged the right wing's leading edge and ribs. The pilot stated that no mechanical issues were known with the airplane prior to the accident.

The pilot attributed the event to his failure to maintain directional control during the landing. No other contributing factors were reported.
