On July 31, 2008, at approximately 1343 local time, a Eurocopter EC-135 T2 helicopter, registration HA-ECE, operated by OMSZ Legimento Kht as MEDIC-14, crashed while attempting an emergency landing. The accident occurred about 2.2 kilometers directly south of Budapest, near Kiskunlachaza, Hungary.

The helicopter was transporting a burn victim from Paks, Hungary, to Budapest when radar contact was lost.
