What happened
On August 6, 2007, at approximately 0700 Pacific daylight time, a Hughes 36ASS helicopter, registered as C-GZIO, crashed while maneuvering near Alice Arm, British Columbia, Canada. The flight was being operated by Prism Helicopters Inc. of Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, as a local passenger flight under the provisions of the Civil Aviation Regulations of Canada.
The accident resulted in 3 fatal injuries, involving the pilot and two passengers.
