Accident Overview
A tailwheel-equipped airplane experienced a ground loop after touchdown on a grass/turf airstrip, resulting in structural damage to the landing gear and wing. The pilot reported no preexisting issues with the flight controls or tailwheel steering system.
Sequence of Events
Following a normal landing on the grass surface, the pilot was unable to maintain directional control of the airplane. As the pilot attempted to regain control, the aircraft entered a ground loop.
