What happened
On March 25, 2009, a Bell 206 helicopter, operating as TC-HEK, crashed in a mountainous area near Kahramanmaras City, Turkey. The accident resulted in 6 fatal injuries, involving the pilot and five passengers. The aircraft was destroyed in the crash.
The investigation
The Turkish Accident Investigation Board is conducting the investigation. The NTSB has appointed an Accredited Representative to assist the process in accordance with ICAO Annex 13.
