What happened
On May 10, 2009, at approximately 1001 UTC, a Bell 407 helicopter, bearing registration RA-01895AO, crashed into terrain in the Irkutsk region of Russia. The impact occurred approximately 3 kilometers from Malyshkino, Cheremshanka.
The helicopter was traveling from a location roughly 62 kilometers from Irkutsk Airport (UIII), which was its intended destination. The accident resulted in 9 fatal injuries, involving the 5 crew members and 4 passengers on board. The aircraft sustained substantial damage during the impact.
