What happened
On June 2, 2009, a Cessna A185F, registration N1015F, was performing a landing in Wenatchee, Washington. During the landing sequence, the aircraft touched down too far down the runway. This resulted in a runway overrun where the airplane exited the departure end of the runway and struck a tree. Following the impact, the aircraft nosed over and came to rest in an inverted position.
There were no injuries resulting from this accident. The weather conditions at the time were VMC with a visibility of 10 statute miles and winds from 150 degrees at 5 knots.
