Accident Overview
On July 20, 2009, at approximately 0925 Japan standard time, a Robinson R44 helicopter, registered as JA32CT, collided with mountainous terrain. The accident occurred about 9 miles southeast of Tajima Airport, located in Tajima, Japan. The helicopter sustained substantial damage due to impact forces.
