What happened
On September 2, 2009, at approximately 0343 UTC, a Bell 430 helicopter, registration VT-APG, crashed near Kurnoon, India. The aircraft was operating a flight from Hyderabad, India, to Chitoor, India, under Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC).
There were five people on board the aircraft, consisting of two crew members and three passengers, including the Secretariat of Hyderabad. The crash resulted in 5 fatal injuries, and there were no survivors. The helicopter was destroyed in the accident.
