On October 29, 2009, at approximately 1305 UTC, a Eurocopter AS350-B2 helicopter (registration OB-1909-P) operated by Helinka experienced a total loss of engine power while descending to a remote landing zone in Loreto, Peru. During the subsequent forced landing, the helicopter collided with trees, resulting in substantial damage. The flight had originated from a remote landing site in Loreto at 1235 UTC.

Injuries and Damage
