What happened

On January 3, 2010, at 0605 UTC, an Air Berlin Boeing 737-86J, registered as D-ABKF, experienced a runway excursion at Dortmund, Germany. While performing a takeoff from runway 06, the crew initiated an aborted takeoff following the detection of an airspeed indicator anomaly. At the time of the incident, snow was falling. The aircraft ran off the end of the runway, but there was no damage to the airplane and no injuries were reported.
