What happened
On January 19, 2010, a Boeing 737-900, operated by Lion Mentari Airline, was involved in a runway excursion at Minangkabau Airport in Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia. The aircraft, registration PK-LFM, departed from its landing phase and exited the runway surface.
There were no injuries reported among the 8 crew members and 201 passengers on board. The aircraft sustained substantial damage during the event.
