What happened
On February 4, 2010, at approximately 1940 Atlantic standard time, a Robinson R44II helicopter, registration N7535F, crashed into the side of Mount Jina Mocha in Restauracion, Dominican Republic. The flight was occurring at night while the aircraft was traveling from Port Au Prince, Haiti, to Cibao International Airport in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
The impact with the mountain resulted in 2 fatalities. The aircraft was destroyed by the forces of the impact and a subsequent fire.
