What happened
On April 16, 2010, at approximately 1255 UTC, a Bell 412EP helicopter, registration 5N-BFU, was operating in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. The aircraft, operated by Bristow Pan African Airline, experienced a loss of power during the flight.
Following the loss of power, the crew performed an autorotative landing, which resulted in a collision with the ground. There were no injuries to the three occupants on board. The helicopter sustained minor damage, and no fire was reported following the impact.
