Accident Overview
On May 31, 2010, at 0852 coordinated universal time, a Cirrus SR-22, registered as SP-AVC, was substantially damaged when it impacted terrain following a loss of control. The accident occurred while the aircraft was on final approach to Bielefeld-Windelsbleiche airport (EDLI) in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. The pilot and three passengers all sustained fatal injuries.
