What happened
On May 31, 2010, at 0852 UTC, a Cirrus SR22, registration SP-AVC, was on final approach to the Bielefeld-Windelsbleiche airport (EDLI) in Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. The aircraft had departed from Kattowitz, Poland, prior to the accident. During the approach, the aircraft experienced a loss of control and struck the terrain, resulting in substantial damage. All four occupants—the pilot and three passengers—sustained 4 fatal injuries.
