What happened

On June 26, 2010, an Aviat A-1B, registration N339C, was performing touch-and-go landings when the pilot experienced a bounced landing. This landing maneuver caused the aircraft to rotate 40 to 50 degrees to the left. As the pilot initiated a go-around, the aircraft continued to yaw to the left, resulting in an aerodynamic stall.

There were no injuries resulting from this event. The pilot reported that the aircraft was in good working order prior to the accident, and the weather conditions were VMC (Visual Meteorological Conditions).
