What happened
On July 16, 2010, at approximately 1645 UTC, a Robinson R44 helicopter, registered as PR-TNB, was involved in an accident in Novo Horizonte, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The aircraft, operated by Pereira Alvim Participacoes e Empreendimentos Ltda, was traveling from a private farm in the State of Sao Paulo toward Ribeirao Preto (SBRP).
After landing in a cane field, the aircraft was destroyed by fire. The accident resulted in 1 fatality and 1 minor injury. The pilot was not injured.
