Accident Details
On July 16, 2010, at approximately 1645 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC), a Robinson R-44 helicopter, registered as PR-TNB, was destroyed by fire after landing in a cane field at Novo Horizonte, State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The helicopter was operated by Pereira Alvim Participacoes e Empreendimentos Ltda. The flight originated from a private farm in the State of Sao Paulo and was en route to Ribeirao Preto (SBRP), also in the State of Sao Paulo.
Occupant Injuries
The pilot was not injured. One passenger sustained minor injuries, and a second passenger was killed.
