What happened
On August 25, 2010, at approximately 1741 UTC, an Embraer EMB-145 LU, registered as PR-PSJ, was performing a commercial flight from Guarulhos (SBGR), Sao Paulo, Brazil, to Vitoria da Conquista Airport (SBQV) in Bahia, Brazil.
While executing a visual approach under visual meteorological conditions (VMC) with winds at 000 degrees at 10 knots, the aircraft landed short of the runway. The impact resulted in substantial damage to the aircraft. There were no injuries among the 2 pilots, the flight attendant, or the 24 passengers on board.
