Accident Overview
On September 30, 2010, at approximately 0844 local time (1144 UTC), a Robinson R44 II helicopter, Brazilian registration PR-CCO, was involved in an accident while landing in rugged terrain near Davinopolis, State of Maranhao, Brazil. The aircraft was registered to and operated by a private individual. The flight originated from Prefeito Renato Mereira/Imperatriz Airport (SBIZ) and was destined for Davinopolis Airport (SIME).
