What happened

On November 2, 2010, at approximately 1441 UTC, an Emirates Airlines Boeing 777-300, registration A6EMR, was performing a takeoff from Düsseldorf, Germany, en route to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. During the takeoff phase, the aircraft experienced a partial failure of the left-hand inboard side thrust reverser on the left-hand engine.

There were 17 crew members and 358 passengers on board the aircraft. There were no injuries reported following the event.
