What happened
On November 18, 2010, at approximately 1700 UTC, a Piper PA-25-235 operated by Aeroagricola Boa Safra Ltda crashed while performing agricultural flight operations. The aircraft, registration PT-WOP, was flying over the Marape Farm in Tapurah City, State of Mato Grosso, Brazil. During the flight, the aircraft lost control and struck trees. The impact resulted in 1 fatality and the total destruction of the airplane. The flight had departed from the Marape Farm earlier that day.
Weather conditions at the time of the accident were reported as Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) with winds from 280 degrees at 05 knots.
