Accident Overview
On November 18, 2010, at approximately 1700 UTC, a Piper PA-25-235, Brazilian registration PT-WOP, lost control and crashed into trees during an agricultural flight. The accident occurred at the Marape Farm in Tapurah City, State of Mato Grosso, Brazil. The flight had originated from the same farm earlier that day at an unspecified time. The pilot was killed, and the airplane was destroyed.
