What happened
On February 4, 2011, at approximately 1449 UTC, a Hawker Beechcraft HS-850XP, registration OD-SKY, crashed during the initial takeoff climb at Sulaimaniyah International Airport, Iraq. The aircraft, operated by Sky Lounge Services S.A.L., was on a flight destined for Istanbul, Turkey.
The accident resulted in 7 fatal injuries, involving all 3 crew members and 4 passengers on board. The aircraft was destroyed in the crash, which was followed by a post-crash fire.
