Accident Details
On February 4, 2011, at 0047 UTC, a Robinson R-44 helicopter bearing registration VH-HFH, operated by Aero Logistics Pty Ltd, was engaged in a training flight when it struck the ground near Cessnock, Australia. The impact inflicted substantial damage to the helicopter. The pilot and one passenger sustained fatal injuries, while a second pilot was seriously hurt.
