What happened
On February 5, 2011, at approximately 1330 UTC, a Cessna A188B, registered as PT-FFG, was performing a crop dusting flight near Bom Jesus, in the Itinga do Maranhao City, Maranhao, Brazil. The aircraft, operated by Globo Aviacao Agricola Ltda, had departed from Bola Sete Farm (SNHU) at an undetermined time.
During the flight, the aircraft collided with a tree. The accident resulted in 1 fatality for the pilot. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.

This investigation was conducted under the jurisdiction of the Government of Brazil through the Aeronautical Accident Prevention and Investigation Center.
