Accident Summary
The accident occurred during a landing when the airplane encountered gusty winds. According to the pilot, the airplane began to drift to the left while on approach. In an attempt to execute a go-around, the pilot applied full power, but the airplane continued to veer left. It subsequently departed the left side of the runway, struck terrain, and nosed over, coming to rest in an inverted position.
