Accident
On July 8, 2011, at approximately 1920 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-18-A150 airplane encountered trees and subsequently struck the ground near Undrom, Sweden. The impact destroyed the aircraft. The pilot, who was the sole occupant, received fatal injuries. The flight had originated from River Aangermanaelven, but the departure time was not recorded.
Investigation
The Swedish Accident Investigation Board (SHK) has assumed responsibility for the inquiry.
