Incident Overview
A solo private pilot was conducting touch-and-go takeoff and landing practice at his home airport. During the third landing, the pilot reported that his approach was not stable and acknowledged that he should have executed a go-around. Instead, he continued the approach, extending it down the runway.
Stall and Impact
As the pilot extended the approach, the airplane stalled. The left wing dropped, and the aircraft came to rest in the brush on the left side of the runway. The left wing sustained substantial damage upon contact with the ground.
