Incident Overview
On July 21, 2011, at approximately 1005 UTC, a Jet2.com Boeing 737-800, registration G-GDFC, conducted an emergency landing at Palma de Mallorca Airport in Spain. The flight, a scheduled service from Ibiza Airport (LEIB) to Manchester Airport (EGCC), had reported a fire in the No. 2 engine shortly after takeoff from Ibiza.
