Accident Details
According to local law enforcement, who spoke with one of the passengers, the pilot experienced an unspecified problem with the airplane during takeoff. The pilot aborted the takeoff, and the airplane subsequently impacted the terrain adjacent to the runway. Following the impact, the landing gear collapsed, and the airplane came to rest upright within the perimeter of the airport.
Postaccident Findings
A postaccident examination of the airplane revealed that the left wing and fuselage were buckled. Despite numerous attempts, authorities have been unable to contact the pilot to discuss the accident.
