The pilot's failure to maintain airplane control during the aborted takeoff.

Accident narrative

According to local law enforcement who spoke with one of the passengers, during takeoff the pilot experienced an unspecified problem with the airplane. The pilot aborted the takeoff, and the airplane impacted the terrain adjacent to the runway. After impacting terrain, the landing gear collapsed and the airplane came to rest upright within the perimeter of the airport. Postaccident examination of the airplane revealed the left wing and fuselage were buckled. Numerous attempts to contact the pilot to discuss the accident have been unsuccessful.
