Accident Details
On September 10, 2011, at approximately 2330 UTC, a Robinson R44 II helicopter, registration PR-CEC, was substantially damaged when it impacted wooded terrain. The accident occurred during an aerial photography flight near Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The flight had departed from Santos Dumont Airport (SBRJ) at about 2320 UTC. The pilot and one passenger received fatal injuries.
