Accident Details
The pilot-owner of the aircraft was conducting practice takeoffs and landings. On the fourth landing, the pilot reported that the landing flare was executed 'too high,' causing the airplane to land hard. After the landing, the pilot taxied the aircraft to the parking area, where a thorough post-flight inspection was initiated.
Damage
The inspection revealed substantial damage to the propeller, nose landing gear, and firewall. The extent of the damage required that the aircraft be grounded for necessary repairs before further flight operations.
