What happened

On October 14, 2011, at approximately 1350 local time, a chartered Cessna 208B, registration A2-AKD, crashed shortly after departing from an airstrip near Xakanaka, Botswana. The flight was en route to the Okavanga Delta. At the time of the accident, weather conditions were characterized by visual meteorological conditions.
