Accident Summary
During the landing roll, the tailwheel-equipped airplane unexpectedly swerved to the left side of the runway. The pilot attempted to regain directional control by applying left aileron, right rudder, and wheel brake, but these actions were unsuccessful. The airplane departed the edge of the runway and entered an area of soft ground, where it nosed over.
