Accident Overview
The accident occurred during the student pilot's first solo flight, while performing the second landing of the session. The airplane had just touched down, and the pilot was preparing for a touch-and-go procedure.
Sequence of Events
As the pilot prepared to apply power and lift off again, the airplane began to swerve off the runway. The pilot applied corrective inputs, but the airplane departed the paved surface, entered an adjacent ditch, nosed over, and came to rest inverted.

The student pilot stated that there were no mechanical issues with the airplane before the accident.
